Learn the theory through your own experience with Educational Therapy
Embarking on the Bodynamic Practitioner journey is both a professional and personal commitment. The requirement of 60 hours of therapy within the modality is not just a formality, but a valuable opportunity to deepen your self-understanding and integrate theory into lived experience.
Educational therapy goes beyond the usual aims of psychotherapy. Here, the focus is not only on personal growth and well-being, but also on supporting you in integrating the theoretical framework and practical models of Bodynamic into your own process. This dual focus helps you embody the principles you are learning, preparing you for both exams and becoming a capable Bodynamic psychotherapist - with your own personal touch.
Integration of theoretical framework
In our work together, I will help you create a clear structure so all required areas and topics are covered, including:
Establishing clear contracts for direction and transparency
Using Bodyknot to make your perception, strategies and codings conscious- and make it a habit of communicating clearly based on the model
Mapping your general codings in all character structures
Understanding the interplay of Ego-functions and Character structures
Analyzing your bodymap and planning a therapeutic process based on it
Conducting a thorough interview about your life history
Assignments support
are an essential part of the process. Many students find it challenging to get started or to complete them on time. I will support you in making this a creative and curious process, with ongoing check-ins, practical tips for note-taking and writing, and help with structuring and combining content. This ensures your assignments-such as your life story and personal therapy papers-become meaningful for both your learning and the final reader. These include:
Life Story Assignment: Writing and reflecting on your personal history, and your ancestors as required by the Bodynamic curriculum.
Personal Therapy Assignment: Documenting and integrating your therapeutic process within the Bodynamic framework.
What kind of educational therapist am I?
With me you can expect a collaborative, structured, and supportive environment. The Bodynamic theoretical framework is dear to my heart-I have been deeply engaged with it since 2016, personally mentored by founder Lisbeth Marcher, and am currently co-authoring a book with her to further expand the theory. My approach is to combine clarity and encouragement, helping you fulfill all educational requirements while making the journey meaningful and inspiring.
